About > MY EXPERIENCE OF YOGA

First, there was not an obvious reason why I started with Kundalini Yoga. Actually, I am a quite sportive person and love power. Indeed a little back pain, and I heart that Yoga would be a kind to relax Body and Mind, brought me in my first class. It was really something else. I did exercising and felt this inner peace. And as I have three children and a busy husband I really wanted to find my inner peace and balance. But very soon I realized it was -and is- so much more than I thought in those days. I was just thrilled by it and started to become very curious. Something drove me to learn more about it.

A Kundalini “Radiant Child” class was offered by Gurumarka Khalsa and I signed up for it. This was my entrance card in the Kundalini World. Very soon I understood that this is not only stretchings and relaxations, no this is a philosophy of life. Things happened and changes started, even at home, I discovered positive changes with my family. Probably, everybody will understand that all this challenged me to go for it, to explore more, to find ways, to awake my awareness for so much more I thought it could be, I would love to grow in any way. I was ready. My motivation became higher and the energy started to clean up my life. Of course, it is harder to change things than to stay with old ways! I found my destiny and my soul started communicating with me. There was no way back for me and I started the “Level 1 – Teacher Training for Kundalini Yoga” in Germany with my teacher Gurumarka Khalsa. I am so thankful and grateful for that class because after I finished it, I understood that this was not the end of a class, rather it was a start for a really exciting journey.

It was, amongst other things, the launch of my teaching careers in Kundalini Yoga, so I started in Germany with my first evening class and soon I taught a morning class as well. Besides teaching adults, I taught in a Kindergarten a wonderful group of children. I figured out that it is a blessing to teach and start loving it.

Kundalini Yoga became a passion and destiny in my life and I am grateful for it. After developing all this, for sure it was obvious to go even deeper in this theme. So I figured out that I was ready for my next step. “Level 2 – Teacher Training for Kundalini Yoga”! It was a 2-year program which was taught by Gurumarka Khalsa in Germany, Holland and France. In that time, I developed a tremendous relationship to my soul and myself and got an even deeper understanding about awareness, surrendering, devotion, divinity, love, relationships, …

Today, I am convinced that all that we do for yourself, for our soul, we will receive back, plus more!

To live a Life as a Yogini means for me to be happy, holy and healthy. This taught Yogi Bajhan and my heart is following to that as good as it is possible.

During these times, I met a lot of wonderful people who help me along my way. I feel so much gratitude to find my teacher Gurumarka. Thanks for all your love and teasings!
